With more than 80 years of combined experience in retinal health care, Georgia Retina, P.C., has served our community in northeast Georgia since 1994.
Our ophthalmologists in Atlanta, Georgia and our staff of dedicated clinicians are committed to providing you and your family with the best care utilizing the newest methods and technology available for the treatment of retinal diseases.
Georgia Retina's physicians are all Board Certified ophthalmologists (eye doctors) and are all Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), with additional subspecialty training in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula. Our physicians receive special Fellowship training in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery at some of the most respected institutions in the United States including Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and the Cleveland Clinic.

The physicians of Georgia Retina are ophthalmologists (M.D.s for eyes). They are Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and have further training in the ophthalmology subspecialty of the retina so they can diagnosis, manage, and treat diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula, including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Typically our physicians' course of education is:
- 4 years of college
- 4 years of medical school
- 1 year of medical or surgical internship
- 3 years of residency in ophthalmology
- 2 years of fellowship training to diagnose, manage, and treat retinal diseases
