About Georgia Retina

Georgia Retina, P.C., was formed in 1994 by the merger of Drs. Michael Jacobson and Scott Lampert's retina-only medical practices. Drs. Lampert and Jacobson have been practicing retina care in the greater-Atlanta area since 1980 and 1991, respectively.

In 1995 Dr. Jay B. Stallman joined the practice and the group has now evolved into one of the largest, retina-only medical practices in the southeastern United States. With eight retina physicians seeing patients in 6 locations throughout the metro Atlanta area, Georgia Retina is growing to accommodate and meet the retina-care needs of our patients and referring clinicians.

In addition to ongoing management of patients' care needs, our physicians are engaged in clinical trials with the goal of advancing research into retinal diseases, their causes, and their cures. Additionally, Georgia Retina holds educational symposia several times each year to educate referring clinicians about current trends in retinal care and treatment options available for patients with retina disease.

With the ongoing growth in the state's population, Georgia Retina expects to continue to grow and expand to delight our patients and meet the needs of our customers; the patients, their families, and the referring clinicians of Georgia.
